When you create a new matter in LEAP, everything including the areas of law, the matter type name, and selection of different tables that makes up each matter type, is all designed and delivered by the LEAP Content Development Team.

Every matter in LEAP has a set of tables that will appear, that are specific to that particular matter type.

They are all created and structured into the matter type, by the LEAP Content Development Team.

There are two types of tables that appear in your matter, Card Tables and Standard Tables:

Card Tables

A Card table requires a user to enter information about a party on a matter that you are writing to.

The LEAP Content Development Team creates these tables and allocates the name.

Standard Tables

A data entry table consists of a table with a name and all of the fields and calculations related to that table.

The LEAP Content Development Team creates all the fields and calculations that appear on each layout to enter your information per matter.

When you look at your matter and all the standard tables, the requested fields are all created by the LEAP Content Development Team.

The team creates calculations to make the data do what we need it to do (e.g. calculate the sum of two amounts).

When you create a form, it will be automated using fields and calculations, and is doing a lot more than what it looks like on the surface.

All of the legal forms that do not require legal judgment are created and maintained by the LEAP Content Development Team.

They are kept up to date, which means you don’t need to worry that you are using an out of date form.

Within LEAP, we provide quick access to legal rates across a variety of different areas of law (from courts and government departments).

These legal rates tables, fields and calculations are created in the same way as any other table and are then maintained by the LEAP Content Development Team.

The quick calculator that appears under the information menu are created and maintained by the LEAP Content Development Team.

They are there so that you don’t have to go outside of LEAP to do a quick calculation.
