The By Lawyers Criminal Offences app now includes new sentencing guidelines for Perverting the Course of Justice and updated sentencing guidelines for Witness Intimidation. The guidelines are effective from 1 October 2023.
The new and updated guidelines ensure a consistent approach to the sentencing of those two offences and make the process more transparent and easier to understand for victims, witnesses, offenders, and the public.
The Criminal Offences app is available in the LEAP Marketplace and can be enabled free of charge by all By Lawyers subscribers.
