Matter Updates in August 2025

Email Subject Lines

Improvements to default email subject lines will be available from August 30th. These updates include:

• Including the matter reference and other party reference numbers (where applicable) in the subject line
• Including key matter specific information such as the property address in a Conveyancing matter or the Accident date in a Personal Injury matter.

Note: This automation applies only when the default Matter Title checkbox is still applied, otherwise the customised version will be used.

Firm Details - Writing to Organisations - new option

A new option has been added the options within Firm Details for setting the automation when writing to organisations.

Selecting this option will use the Company / Organisation name as completed on the LEAP Card in standard letters using the matter.defaultFile.dear or matter.[cardName].dear field:

Family Legal Rate Tables

You can now view and access English Family Court Legal Rates from within Family matters types using the new Legal Rates tab.

Residential Conveyancing Critical Dates

Priority Period Expiry Date and Land Registry Submission Date have been added as critical dates to all Purchase, Sale, and Transfer Residential Conveyancing Matter Types.
