IHT400s and 205s automated in Word
We are pleased to advise that IHT400s and 205s forms have been converted to Word and calculated in LEAP.
To view an Information Sheet which will provide guidance on how to use the forms, please go to Forms and Precedents, then Probate folder, HMRC, and then open the Guidance and Notes folder. Under this file path there is a document entitled “IHT400s & 205s Information Sheet�. Alternatively click the following link to download the Information Sheet: here.Please refer to this document as it will assist in ensuring that the forms automate where they are designed to do so.
Please be advised that in order for the IHT400s and 205s forms to calculate correctly in Word, all necessary Table Types need to be filled out first. IHT400 Details, IHT 400 Schedules, IHT400 Calc Details and IHT205 Details have been set up as Default Table Types on the Probate Matter Type and the rest of the Schedules as Possible Table Types so that they can be added to the matter if needed.
