Online Payments - Adding Details and Payment Instructions to Wordbills

How To

Online Payments details (reference number and payment instructions) are used for all current and future matters whenever a LEAP Wordbill is generated. The Online Payments details can be placed anywhere on the Wordbill. You can edit or delete the Online Payments details from the Wordbill precedent at any time.

To insert or modify the default placement of the footer on a Wordbill:

Open any matter.
Navigate to Details & Correspondence tab.
Click Forms & Precedents on the toolbar.
Go to your firm's Wordbill precedent.

The default location of this is usually Practice Management > Accounting General.
Right-click the Wordbill precedent and select Edit Precedent.

Your Wordbill precedent opens in Microsoft Word.
Place your cursor where you want to insert the Online Payments details in the Wordbill and click [Insert RapidPay] on the LEAP ribbon.

The Online Payments details will appear in the specified location. You can change this placement at any time by clicking and dragging the footer to your preferred location.
Click Save & Close on the LEAP ribbon and enter a reason for the modification.

When Wordbills are generated, the Online Payments details will display to reflect what is in the Wordbill precedent.

If your RapidPay details do not appear in your invoice, you may need to re-enable RapidPay for the matter. To do this, please visit the Details & Correspondence tab in the matter, then right-click a card, select RapidPay Matter Status and click Update Matter Status.
