How To

Location: LEAP Menu > Reports > Client Funds > Client Accounts End of Month > Client Account End Of Month

Purpose: Run the Client Account End of Month (EOM) process for the period based on your last general EOM date, generating the following Client Account End of Month (EOM) reports:

Client Accounts Overdrawn	Displays all instances where a matter or Client Funds Account has become overdrawn.
Client Accounts Journals	Lists all Client Funds journal entries for a given period.
Client Payments Cash Book	Lists all Client Funds payments and reversals, as well as a Cashbook Summary for the period.
Client Receipts Cash Book	Lists all Client Funds receipts, reversals and bank deposits for the period.
Client Accounts Trial Balance	Displays all matters with Client Funds balance and/or Client Funds transactions.

Important Notes:

Month ending date is set on each Client Funds Account.
To set the End of Month date for each bank account:
- From the LEAP Matter List, click the LEAP Menu > Settings > Application Settings. The LEAP Application Settings window will open.
- Click Accounting > under Bank Accounts > Client Funds Accounts.
- Select the Client Funds Account to amend the EOM Date.
- Change the Last EOM Date.

Changing the Last EOM Date will not reset the page numbering. Page numbering will continue to increment.

Report Page:

Next Run Date	Specifies the period for which the General End of Month (EOM) process is executed.
Month (Year)	Displays the month and year corresponding to the generated reports.
Reports	Provides a downloadable PDF version of the two reports.
Actions	Indicates the available actions for the selected period.

Optional Setting:

Users have the option to include a 'Signed and reviewed by' person.
