The introduction of the Bulk Matter Creation app equips firms with powerful tools to streamline the onboarding process for new clients and matters. It also enables efficient management of these matters through bulk update capabilities.
This app significantly enhances the functionality of Recurring Matter Templates within LEAP.
Key features include:
- Linking related matters using a Recurring Matter Template
- Creating matters and cards in bulk via CSV upload
- Bulk editing of matter fields and Critical Dates
- Attaching precedents
Bulk Matter Creation is reliant on Recurring Matter Templates, so ensure that you have created a template for the matters you wish to import. More details on how to do this are available in the LEAP HelpCentre. You can reuse the same template.
The app does not check for existing cards in LEAP, so it is recommended that a manual check is done before importing the data in bulk to ensure there are no conflicts. We also recommend breaking down large imports into smaller chunks to ensure smooth processing of the data. When importing dates, you must ensure the format is YYYY-MM-DD.
