Family Matter Updates in March 2026

Matter Types

• Additional matter types have been added - Interim & Post Financial Remedy Proceedings, International Children Law, Non-Court Dispute Resolution, Nuptial Agreement and Therapeutic Services.
• Existing matter types have been renamed to Other Relationship Agreements, Private Law Child Arrangement and Public Law Care Proceedings.
• The Care & Protection folder has been removed.
• A new default table structure has been applied across all family matter types, providing a consistent data interface to start any new matter.

Preventative Contact Features

• Contact Confidentiality - Added “Treat contact details as confidential” option, preventing contact details appearing in impersonal correspondence.
• Alternative Address - Added Alternative Address tab for Client cards, replacing residential address with entered alternative in personal letters.
• How-to guides have been added to LEAP Community here.

Prompt Updates

• Domestic Abuse Prompt Library, including:
  • Matter summary in Domestic Abuse proceedings
  • Witness statement in support of non-molestation or occupation orders
• Mediation Prompt Library, including:
  • Matter summary in Mediation
  • Mediation session chronology
• Updated prompt in line with C100 update - Nature of application and sections of form C100 Application under section 8 of the Children Act 1989
• Formalise a Family File Note
• Adjustments for Neurodivergent Individuals
