From the 1st July, the LEGACY - Completion Statement document templates will be removed from LEAP. This includes:

• LEGACY - Completion Statement - Purchase (England)
• LEGACY - Completion Statement - Sale (England)
• LEGACY - Completion Statement - Remortgage (England)

The non legacy version of the Completion Statement document template (LD-ENG-CNV-001) will be replacing the legacy statements.

What happens when a precedent is removed?

The precedent has not been copied or customised by your firm:

• the precedent will not be available from Guides & Precedents
• no new documents can be created from the removed precedent
• documents generated from the removed precedent that have been saved to a matter are unaffected

The precedent has been copied or customised by your firm:

• copied or customised precedents will remain available for use
• LEAP will no longer be able to provide updates to the precedent
• documents generated from the removed precedent that have been saved to a matter are unaffected
