Recording a New Voice Memo in LEAP Mobile

Learn how to record and manage Voice Memos in LEAP Mobile on iPhone, iPad, or Android with the option to add a widget for quick access on your iPhone home screen.

Open the matter.
Swipe to or tap the Correspondence tab.
Tap> New Voice Memo.

A 3-second timer will countdown before it starts recording.

You can also tap on the Home screen.

As you record the Voice Memo, LEAP will begin the live transcription in real-time.

This feature is currently only available on iOS devices.

A preview of the transcript will appear on the screen as you record.
Swipe down to minimise and continue recording in the background.
When you're finished and want to stop recording, tap the red banner at the top of the screen.
Tapto stop recording.
Tapto playback the Voice Memo.

Tap the transcript preview to expand the full view.

You can also Discard the Voice Memo or continue recording by tapping.

Rename the Voice Memo or change the Matter Number, if required.
Tap Save and you will be presented with 3 options for saving.
- Transcript: This option will save a transcript of the memo only.
- Voice: This option will save the voice recording of the memo only.
- Voice & Transcript: This option will save the voice recording and transcript of the memo.
The Voice Memo will be recorded in the matter under the Correspondence tab.

The transcript of the Voice Memo will be saved as a new comment on the matter with the same name.

Tap to stop the recording.
Options on the screen will include:
- - Cancel
- - Rename
- - Playback
- - Delete recording
- - Resume
- - Save recording
Tap Save to save the recorded Voice Memo to the matter under the Correspondence tab.
