To give an external auditor (accountant) access to the Client Fund Account Reports in LEAP for the annual Trust Audit, a LEAP licence must be assigned to them to enable access.

If assigning a licence isn't possible, an alternative would be to download the required reports individually and email them directly to the accountant.

If you need to restrict the auditor’s access to only specific matters and prevent them from accessing other matters, you can follow these steps in LEAP to limit their access:

Open the Matter you need to restrict access to.
Make sure you're on the Details & Correspondence tab.
Click Matter Details.
Click the Access & Permissions tab.
Tick the Restrict Access To checkbox.
Select the relevant staff members who should have access to the matter.

Click to edit heading

You can click Add to add Additional staff members.
Repeat these steps for each of the matters you want restricted from the external auditor.
